Catherine Anne

 Catherine Anne O'Hara OC (born on March 4, 1954)is a Canadian-American actress as well as a comedian and writer. O'Hara is the proud winner of several distinctions, including an award called the Genie Award. In 2018, O'Hara was appointed an Officer of Canada. In the year 2020, she was presented with the Governor General’s Performing Arts Performing Arts Artistic Achievement Award. O'Hara became famous as an actor when she joined in 1974 of The Second City, an improvisational comedy troupe based in Toronto. Dan Aykroyd and John Candy were also in her main cast on the sitcom Coming Up Rosie (1975-1978). O'Hara began working with Candy on Second City Television's sketch comedy show (1976-1984). O'Hara was recognized for her stand-up and writing skills, winning the Primetime Emmy Award of Outstanding Writing for a Variety Series in 1981. O'Hara, Steve Carell and Dwayne Colbert were included on the Second City artistic board in 2022.
